The QuickShuttle series of transfection reagents are a type of cationic transfection reagents with independent intellectual property rights and unique formulas. They feature high efficiency, low toxicity and ease of use, and are recommended for transient transfection of conventional mammalian cell lines and construction of stable cell lines.
The main features that distinguish QuickShuttle from conventional transfection reagents are:
(1) Immediate transmission and transfer: Transfection can be performed while transmitting cells (basic/Enhanced requires pre-adhesion).
(2) One-minute rapid transfection: After the plasmid transfection reagent is well mixed, there is no need for incubation. It can be directly added to the culture medium (other transfection reagents need to wait for 10-30 minutes).
(3) No need for medium change: Antibiotics and serum have no effect on the transfection effect.
Therefore, QuickShuttle is particularly suitable for rapid and large-scale transient transfection and expression of target proteins, or for the large-scale preparation of various viral vectors and pseudoviruses.
