The products are aseptically portioning in the laminar flow hood and contain Proclin preservative
Q4: How much secondary antibody is needed per IHC slide?
One tablet, approximately 100-200 μ l in dosage. The secondary antibody is used for IHC experiments, with a dilution ratio of about 1:200-1:500, which is roughly 0.2ml
Q5: Can the HRP-labeled tag antibodies on the official website be used for ELISA?
The scope of experiments that the product can be used for should still be subject to the product description on the official website. If it is not written on the official website, it is uncertain whether it can be conducted.
Although Elisa experiments have been conducted during the antibody preparation process, there may be structural differences between the antigen on the plate and the antigen used in the experiment. Antigens may also be in the form of polypeptides, etc. Therefore, even if Elisa was conducted during the antibody screening process, it does not mean that the final product is suitable for Elisa experiments on customer samples.
Q6: Why is my labeled antibody packaged in a transparent tube? Do I still need to protect it from light?
The labeled antibodies are recommended to be stored away from light. We will provide light-proof packaging bags when they are dispatched from the warehouse. Customers can subsequently wrap it with aluminum film or place it on the inside of the refrigerator and continue to store it away from light. The reason why we have changed to transparent tube packaging is that customers can see the volume of the contents.
Q7: Has the specificity of our secondary antibody been experimentally verified? Is there no cross-reaction with other subtypes or the same subtype from other species?
The secondary antibodies of the anti-subtype have no crossover with other subtypes of the species, such as anti-mouse IgG2a, anti-mouse IgG2b, anti-mouse IgG1, anti-mouse IgG3, anti-mouse IgA, and anti-mouse IgM. However, we have not conducted any tests on whether there is cross-reaction with subtypes of other species. Our secondary antibodies are specific within the same species range and can rule out cross-reaction issues.
